Stereo Pre-amplifier (1977-79) – Solid State
The CA-2000 stereo preamplifier is for the purist who likes to be in control. A full set of controls makes the most of the musical qualities, along with a flat response over 10Hz to 80 kHz with less than 0.03% THD. This unit has normal marks and or scratches from usage over time yet still present very well.
Any burnt out indicator and illumination lamps were replaced. Switches and controls were cleaned. All controls and functions tested and preamp verified to be operating properly.
Input terminals are carried in the right-side side-panel side, and it has adopted the unique structure where an input terminal fraction, an equalizer substrate, and an input multiple contact switch approach. Moreover, the shielding wire constituting the cause of a failure of a high region property is reduced, and the SN ratio is improved.
The transistor with few noise figures selected carefully was used, and the high operation of stability has been obtained over the wide band. Furthermore, the RIAA deflection rectified in a flat property as a convention has adopted NF elements, such as a metal film resistor with little error, and a styrene capacitor, with the high order accuracy.
