This is a beautifully built Marantz 2240 Receiver that sounds as good as it looks. Originally produced back in 1974. The receiver has been serviced, carefully tested and is in excellent working order. The switches and controls have been cleaned and lubed for many years of proper functionality.
New LED lights installed for the dial and meters. FM sounds great and the phono section also sounds very nice. Rebuilt power supply. The receiver is in very good cosmetic condition. Normal marks and or scratches from over the years yet still presents very well. One push tab missing but FM only needs the one tab – works great with a simple dipole wire.
